Revoking access for more than half of the world
We have launched our ID Verification Programme for users in states or nations that require ID Verification to access the Owen2k6 Network. While personally I do not agree with such laws, I will accept people who voluntarily provide an ID to verify, or in some states a simple date of birth will suffice so long as they are over the age of 18.
Revoking access for more than half of the world
The whole world has strict laws against the existence of services that advocate for the freedom of speech online. In order for maximum compliance, we have restricted the world so that people can still enjoy the Owen2k6 Network without censorship. This unfortunately means a huge amount of the world is no longer able to join in on the network until their countries introduce better legislation that allows us to exist. In regions that allow us to just simply verify ID, we will offer such services to them with an 18+ Mandate to accommodate all ID verification nations. I'm sorry it came down to this, but I'm not censoring people for using their right to free speech.
Disabled access for German Citizens
Unfortunately, due to german law, unless we want to restrict what players can do on GoplexMC, we have to block German Citizens from accessing our network.
Disabled access for UK Citizens
Unfortunately, due to the Online Safety Act being so broad, i have had to disable access for UK Citizens until the act has been fixed.
